Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in company databases and systems. Strong typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter data into databases, spreadsheets, and systems accurately and efficiently
Verify and correct data as needed to ensure accuracy
Maintain and update records regularly
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
Prepare and sort documents for data entry
Review data for errors, missing information, or inconsistencies
Ensure confidentiality and security of company information
Generate reports and perform basic data analysis when required
Follow company procedures and standards for data entry and data quality
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus
Proven experience as a data entry operator or in a similar role
Excellent typing speed and accuracy
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and data entry software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
